Can this team sign Victor Oladipo to a long-term deal?
The Indiana Pacers remain in that second-tier of the Eastern Conference. You know, the teams that can make some noise in the Eastern Conference but not a team that can make a real run to the NBA Finals – no offense, Pacers fans. However, one of the biggest questions that surround the Pacers at the moment is whether or not Victor Oladipo will be a part of their future.
He’s a free agent after next season and there will be a huge market for the all-star. Oladipo has his career breakout with the Pacers a couple of years ago in which he averaged 23 points, five rebounds, and four assists per game. He followed that up with another productive season a year ago but suffered a bad quad injury which forced him to miss the playoffs and the start of this season.
Now, though, there’s a real question surrounding his future with the club. Will he want to re-sign with the Pacers or will another high profile team out there be able to pry him away from Indiana?
