Pascal Siakam, Toronto Raptors
After his breakout season in 2018-19, I’m not sure how much of a ceiling that Pascal Siakam still had ahead of him. However, if the 2019-20 season was the new normal for him, Siakam is going to be an all-star caliber player for a very long time.
Siakam averaged 24 points, eight rebounds, and four assists on 46 percent shooting from the field and 36 percent shooting from 3-point range. He also helped lead the Raptors to the second seed in the East – separating themselves from the likes of the Celtics, Sixers, Heat, and Pacers – in the Eastern Conference.
The Raptors were set up for another deep playoff run, this time on the back and shoulders of Siakam. There isn’t much on the floor that Siakam can’t do – and that’s what makes him all the more difficult to game plan for.
Siakam still has room to grow, and I don’t think we’ve seen the best version of himself left.
