19. Milwaukee Bucks (via Indiana) – Precious Achiuwa, PF/C, Memphis
In all likelihood, you probably haven’t heard of Precious Achiuwa. That doesn’t mean he can’t translate to a good player in the NBA. Achiuwa is coming off a season in which he averaged 16 points and 11 rebounds on 49 percent shooting from the field during his lone season with the Memphis Tigers.
At 6-foot-9 with a 7-foot-2 wingspan, he has tremendous size and length as a forward. The key for Achiuwa will be determined on his ability to be a versatile defender while also showcasing the ability to keep defenses honest on the offensive end.
Achiuwa is considered a raw prospect because of his offensive skills. He dominated at Memphis but didn’t have the ability to showcase his entire repertoire on the bright stage that is the NCAA Tournament. Perhaps he’d be selected a bit higher had there been postseason play.
For the Milwaukee Bucks, adding Achiuwa would make this team even more fierce on the defensive end.
