13. Phoenix Suns
The Phoenix Suns have arguably been the hottest team in the NBA’s restart bubble. Led by the excellent play of Devin Booker, and his late-game heroics, the Suns have quickly become one of the most interesting stories in the Western Conference. With that said, it’s still highly unlikely that the Suns will break into the playoffs, but this is certainly a good step in the right direction for the franchise.
Many thought that the Suns were going to be a surprise team in the Western Conference this season, but before the hiatus, this was a team that struggled to find an identity and wasn’t hit their progression in stride.
It seems like the four months off did this team wonders. Booker looks like a certified superstar and hit an insane game-winner. Keep in mind, the Suns are doing all this without Kelly Oubre Jr., who was oftentimes the team’s second-most consistent scorer during the pre-hiatus regular season.
