8. Indiana Pacers
T.J. Warren has been mightily impressive through the first few games in the NBA’s restart bubble and has been a pleasant surprise for the Indiana Pacers who are still without Domantas Sabonis, arguably their best player during the regular season. Still, the Pacers continue to be ignored and overlooked by the masses in the bubble.
The Pacers are not a team that is going to demand many conversations. No one is really paying attention all that much to what this team is doing. With that said, this is also a team that you don’t really want to play against in a seven-game series. The Pacers are tough on defense, could present matchup problems on offense, and have many dark horse stars on their roster (including Victor Oladipo).
Indiana has had a great start to the bubble and will likely be a tough out in the playoffs. If they draw the right opponent, it wouldn’t be surprising to see this team win a playoff series. Unfortunately, especially without Sabonis, that seems to be their current ceiling.
