20. San Antonio Spurs

The San Antonio Spurs have quietly been a good team in the restart. They’re 3-2 and a top 5 offense. They’re a half-game out of the 9th seed in the Western Conference and could actually sneak into the play-in tournament if results land the right way heading into the final few games of the restart.

It’s funny because as many were quick to count out the Spurs and 22-year playoff streak, yet here we are with three bubble games remaining and San Antonio is still very much in the mix to extend their historic streak.

There’s nothing special about what the Spurs do; they’re just an incredibly well-coached team that finds ways to time and time outperform on paper. With that said, keep an eye on the Spurs over the next week.
