3. Atlanta getting a running-mate for Trae Young

The Atlanta Hawks have the fourth-best odds of winning the No. 1 overall pick, and with the excitement that is surrounding this team and Trae Young, it would be interesting to see an Anthony Edwards or LaMelo Ball (really interesting, and potentially head-scratching) landing with this young, talented team.

The Hawks will be a trendy pick to potentially make the playoffs in the Eastern Conference next season and really nice, young pieces already in place. The expectation is that Young and John Collins will continue to take steps in their development and that Clint Capela, who the team acquired at the NBA Trade Deadline, will give this team a veteran presence in the frontcourt.

While LaMelo Ball might not be the best fit considering he’s more of an on-ball player at this point in his development, adding Anthony Edwards would be enticing. Edwards would fit seamlessly next to Young and would help with some of the defensive concerns in the backcourt.
