7. Detroit Pistons – Devin Vassell, F, Florida State
In a league where 3-and-D has become a huge necessity, we could see a run on potential 3-and-D players late in the top 10 to late in the lottery. It shouldn’t be surprising to see a player like Devin Vassell make his way into the top 10.
Vassell is a 6-foot-7 two-way player that is coming off a season in which he averaged 13 points and five rebounds per game on 42 percent shooting from 3-point range.
He would be able to fill a role on any team in the league and even has the potential to develop into a potential star. He has the size, skill, and intangibles (if he falls in the right development system) to even outshoot his projections. Keep an eye on Vassell, who is a name that can continue to rise up draft boards as we inch closer and closer to the 2020 NBA Draft.
The Pistons would be adding a solid rotation player here at No. 7.
