19. Brooklyn Nets – Nico Mannion, G, Arizona
With Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant set to rejoin the team next season, the Brooklyn Nets have a lot going for them as a franchise. Adding Nico Mannion with the 19th pick could give this team some added insurance to the backcourt and perhaps even give this team leeway to make a move in the trade market.
Mannion averaged 14 points and five assists during his lone season at Arizona.
20. Miami Heat – Kira Lewis Jr., G, Alabama
Even though the Miami Heat have been one of the better stories to emerge from the 2019-20 season, they do have a bit of a need in the backcourt. With Goran Dragic’s free agency approaching, it would be wise for the team to select a guard in the draft.
At No. 20, one interesting name to keep an eye on is Kira Lewis Jr. Even though he’s considered an undersized guard, he was extremely impactful during his two years at Alabama. He’s coming off a productive season in which he averaged 19 points, five rebounds, and five assists on 37 percent shooting from 3-point range.
