5. Cleveland Cavaliers – Isaac Okoro, F, Auburn

The Cleveland Cavaliers could be set for the future in the backcourt with Collin Sexton, Darius Garland, and Kevin Porter Jr., but there’s no question this team needs to address the wing depth and potentially find another potential building block before the team decides its future with Tristan Thompson and Kevin Love, respectively.

One potential prospect in play could be Isaac Okoro. Many consider him to be one of the better defenders in this draft and likely the best wing defender that will be drafted in the top 10. His offense is still very much in question, and he’ll have to prove he can hit a consistent jump shot but his athleticism, size, and potential should be enough for him to land in the top 8 picks.

The Cavs could land another promising prospect that may have star potential. With the NBA quickly transitioning to positionless basketball, Okoro, at 6-foot-6 and a near 6-foot-9 wingspan, could prove to be valuable.

The Cavs would be rolling the dice hoping Isaac Okoro’s offensive game catches up with his defensive prowess, but that’s a risk they have to be willing to take in this draft.
