What are the Pacers going to do with Victor Oladipo?

Honestly, there is a good chance the front office does not yet know the answer to this. Talks of an extension with Victor Oladipo were halted during the season. There are reports that the Pacers had not offered enough.

Then, Oladipo took a long time to decide if he was going to play in the bubble. When he originally decided he was not going to play, he reportedly did not inform his teammates of his decision. There are also rumors that Oladipo has his eyes set on the Miami Heat as his next team.

The Pacers are going to need to figure out the Oladipo situation quickly. The worst thing the blue and gold could do now is hold on to Oladipo and hope and pray he stays. He could easily walk away from the Pacers and leave the organization with nothing in return.

If there continues to be an escalated amount of uncertainty with Oladipo’s decision it may be in the Pacers’ best interest to trade him and get what assets they can.
