Bam’s dominance

If the Miami Heat is going to win this series, there’s a good chance that Bam Adebayo will play a huge role in their success. Bam is coming off a sensational series against the Bucks in which he averaged 17 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists on 60 percent shooting from the field and 91 percent shooting from the free-throw line.

And that was Bam against Brook Lopez for the majority of that series. Even though Lopez is not a defensive-stopper by any means, he is a true 7-footer and one of the best shot-blockers in the Eastern Conference. Now, Bam will likely be defended by Daniel Thies for the majority of this series.

Even though Thies is a good defensive player, he’s not a 7-footer and is the same size as Bam. He’s a player that Bam should dominate in this series if we think that Adebayo is the player that he’s been for the majority of this season.

In the Heat’s last meeting with the Celtics, in which Miami won in the bubble, Bam finished with 21 points and 12 rebounds. He had 18 free throw attempts. If the Heat is going to be successful, we’ll have to see plenty of Bam dominance.
