27. New York Knicks – Cassius Winston, G, Michigan State

After selecting a big with their first pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, it would be an easy bet for this team to take a guard with their late first-round pick. Cassius Winston could emerge as a potential fit and is one of the most accomplished players in this draft class. Winston averaged 19 points and six assists on 43 percent shooting from 3-point range this past season at Michigan State.

28. Los Angeles Lakers – Malachi Flynn, G, San Diego State

Even though Rajon Rondo has been pretty good for the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA playoffs, it would be extremely surprising if this team didn’t make an upgrade at the point guard position during the offseason. Malachi Flynn could be a potential fit if the Lakers want to take a shot at a guard in the draft. Flynn averaged 18 points, five assists, and five rebounds per game on 37 percent shooting from 3-point range during his junior season at San Diego State.

29. Toronto Raptors – Aleksej Pokusevski, F, Olympicacos B

Aleksej Pokusevski remains as one of the biggest mysteries in the 2020 NBA Draft, but will almost certainly be drafted in the first round. The Toronto Raptors, who have emerged as one of the best developmental systems in the NBA, seem like almost the perfect fit.

30. Boston Celtics – Leandro Bolmaro, G, FC Barcelona

With the final pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, Leandro Bolmaro would be a solid pick for the Boston Celtics. He’s a draft and stash player that won’t be making the move to the NBA in 2021. He’s also a player that could develop nicely in the future for the Celtics. It’d be a win-win for Boston.
