6. Atlanta Hawks – Tyrese Haliburton, G, Iowa State

With the sixth pick in the NBA Draft, the Atlanta Hawks will select Tyrese Haliburton. Haliburton is one of the best two-way players in this draft and will likely be a top 10 pick. After it’s a sensational sophomore season in which he proved that he could be a playmaker, defensive difference-maker, and offensive threat, there’s no question that he’d be a great addition for a team like the Hawks.

The big question is whether or not Haliburton has enough star potential to be one of the best players to emerge from this job. He has great size and will be able to play both guard positions. He will be an ideal player to stick next to Trae Young who has emerged as a star for the Hawks.

For a team that is going to be expected to make a run at the playoffs next season in the Eastern conference, the hope is that Haliburton will be able to play some sort of role during his rookie season in Atlanta.
