Trade target: Aaron Gordon

For a team that is in the midst of a transition like the San Antonio Spurs, I’m not sure there’s any one player that the team should be targeting in the trade market. But if there’s one intriguing target, I’d have to suggest Aaron Gordon. For one, he wouldn’t be as costly as some of the other players on the trade market.

Secondly, he’s the type of player that the Spurs can bring in to help reach his potential. Gordon has been somewhat underwhelming over the last few years in Orlando and has hit somewhat of a plateau in his development.

If there’s any team that will able to help him break out of that, it could be the Spurs. San Antonio needs talent at this point. Gordon would give them that and is also a player that could take some leadership role with this young roster. He’d be an interesting project for San Antonio.
