6. Atlanta Hawks – Patrick Williams, F, Florida State

Patrick Williams is a name that has continued to rise up NBA Draft boards over the last couple of weeks and it doesn’t appear that’s going to change. While there has been talk about potentially the Atlanta Hawks trading this pick, I believe the Hawks, instead, are just going to take a player they really like.

After the top 3, Patrick Williams might have the highest ceiling in this draft class and there is plenty to like about his perspectives in the NBA. He has great size, athleticism, and can play nearly everywhere on the floor.

Even though he didn’t show that much during his freshman season in college, it’ll be his versatility and potential that will make him a high pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. If he can blossom a year or two into his NBA career, the Hawks could’ve landed themselves quite the steal at No. 6.
