12. Sacramento Kings, Tyrese Haliburton

What a dream situation for the Sacramento Kings. Just like the Spurs, it looked like they were just about to miss out on one of those nice little late-lottery picks but no, never underestimate the stupidity of bad teams.
I might be puffing the Spurs and Kings’ picks up too much, but in case you missed it, I’m high on these guys and I think the two teams will be really happy with their selections.
Haliburton projects to be a nice rookie off the bench early on and can play at the lead guard role or even at the off guard next to young star De’Aaron Fox. I love the versatility and this is the sort of player you need on a winning roster, not Cory Joseph at an exorbitant contract.
Also, it must’ve been hard for Kings ownership to watch their team not draft a big man for once, but don’t worry, this is good Vivek, this is good.
