Devon Dotson to the Bulls

Heading into the 2020 NBA Draft, Devon Dotson was one of my favorite prospects in the draft. How Devon Dotson went undrafted is a shocker to me as I thought for sure he would go somewhere in the first round if not maybe late in the first round.

The Chicago Bulls scored in a major way by acquiring him shortly after the draft was over. The Bulls need point guard depth and have found a very sound prospect that could project to be their eventual backup point guard to Coby White.

Out of the 2020 NBA Draft class, Dotson was one of the better passers and shot the 3-point ball at a 33 percent clip during his two seasons at Kansas. We could look back at this deal in a couple of years and wonder how the Bulls got such a steal in the undrafted free agent.
