Christmas wishlist: A carryover from Dame
The Portland Trail Blazers are often a team that gets overlooked in the Western Conference year after year. Even though they have one of the best backcourts in the NBA, not many take this team as a serious contender in the Western Conference.
And perhaps rightfully so, considering that the West is extremely deep and that will continue to be the case this season. However, what this team should be hoping for this holiday season is another breakout season from Damian Lillard.
He was on a tear in the NBA’s restart bubble last season and the hope is that he can carry that into the regular season this year. The Blazers have enough talent and depth that it takes to be a dangerous team in the Western Conference this season. Here’s hoping that they will be able to put it all together and get back to that dangerous team that they were just a couple of years ago.
