Christmas wishlist: A breakout year from De’Aaron Fox

As the Sacramento Kings look at themselves in the mirror and try to retool heading into the season, there’s nothing that the Kings should be hoping for this Christmas season than a breakout season from De’Aaron Fox.

Fox was given a huge contract extension this offseason and will need to back that up with a superstar type season. If he’s going to be the face of the franchise moving forward, and from all indications that seems to be the case, he needs to have a huge season this year.

And if the Kings are going to sniff the playoffs in the Western Conference this season, they’re going to need Fox to lead the way in a very big manner. Fox has all the tools to be a star in the NBA; the hope is that we’ll begin to see that more and more.
