Minnesota Timberwolves
The Minnesota Timberwolves have to be considered one of the most disappointing teams of the season thus far in the Western Conference. Although, you can make the case that they have a good excuse for not performing up to the level many expected them to be at this point in the season.
Their leader and best player Karl-Anthony Towns has missed a good chunk of the season due to an injury and then health and safety protocols. That said, it is still highly disappointing that this team has only won four games through the first quarter of the season. The Wolves are dead-last in the Western Conference and almost have little to no hope of making a true playoff push in the deep Western Conference.
This season looks like it’s shaping to be another lost year for the Timberwolves. At this point, you have to wonder what lies ahead for this franchise. Will big changes be coming this offseason? Will that include a big trade and perhaps another rebuild? The Wolves are in a bad place, unfortunately.
