Milwaukee Bucks
The Milwaukee Bucks might be the No. 1 team in net rating in the league, but this is a team that needs to improve on the defensive side of the ball if they’re going to make it out of the Eastern Conference. The Bucks are a middle-of-the-pack defensive team and could use an upgrade when it’s available. That’s P.J. Tucker.
Tucker would give this team another elite wing defender, that could help Giannis Antetokounmpo lay off an opponents’ best player in the playoffs – which would be huge in an attempt to keep him fresh.
Adding Tucker would also give this team an ability to play small when it simply doesn’t make sense to keep Brook Lopez on the floor when opposing teams are playing small. I’m not sure this team had that ability last season.
Tucker would also give Milwaukee another shooter that they could lean on. The Bucks are already a top 5 3-point shooting team and Tucker would give them added insurance that they didn’t have in the playoffs last season.
