6. Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks might not be winning at the same clip as they were last year in the regular season, but I believe this team is even more dangerous this year. This team should be hitting its stride by the time the playoffs come around and finally have added stars that should help Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton when they need the most.

That said, it’s not surprising that many are somewhat overlooking the Bucks in the East this season.

5. Philadelphia 76ers

Say what you want about Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid has been an NBA MVP candidate through the first quarter of the season. He’s playing at an all-time high level and has the Philadelphia 76ers as the top seed in the Eastern Conference.

Doc Rivers has done a fantastic job with this crew and has this team playing like a true championship contender in the East. The Sixers might be the biggest threat to the Brooklyn Nets in the Eastern Conference and I’m not sure that many of us foresaw that during the offseason.
