18. Charlotte Hornets

The Charlotte Hornets are a deep young team. They give many teams issues on any given night and it’s going to be interesting to see how much LaMelo Ball grows into himself as a potential star.

Still, I don’t believe the Hornets are going to remain in the playoff race long enough to be a true threat. That doesn’t mean they’re not going to be competitive every night.

17. Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been one of the most surprising teams in the Eastern Conference. Although they’ve come back to the pack a little bit over the last few games, the Cavs are still in the top 8 in the East.

This is a team that you certainly be kept an eye on even though many thought that this team was one year ahead of schedule.
