NBA big-names most likely to be traded: Blake Griffin
The Detroit Pistons are one team that is expected to be busy in the weeks leading up to the NBA Trade Deadline. One player that they will be looking to unload – either via trade or through a buyout – is Blake Griffin. Even though he’s more likely to be bought out, I included him because he’s a huge name that will be changing teams, one way or another, at some point this season.
Blake hasn’t been himself at all this season and is only averaging 12 points, five rebounds, and four assists per game on 37 percent shooting from the field. He’s in desperate need of a reset and perhaps even a career-resurrection.
I don’t believe any team is expecting Blake to be the old Blake again, but he’s still only 31 years old and could play a valuable role for a team in a reserved role. Imagine having Blake Griffin off the bench? There are plenty of contenders that will be lining up for that opportunity.
