The biggest Western Conference threats to the Brooklyn Nets: Denver Nuggets

Even though Jamal Murray is out for the rest of the season with a devastating injury and Will Barton recently had a nasty injury, the young Nuggets squad is still a team to be feared. The main factor for their dominance is leading MVP candidate Nikola Jokic, who can dominate like a big man and distribute like a playmaker. No team has had an answer for Jokic this season, and it seems unlikely that the Nets will find an answer for taking on the potential Most Valuable Player.

Another individual who will give the Nets trouble is Michael Porter Jr, who is dominating since the injury of Jamal Murray. Now in his sophomore year, Porter Jr. has begun to showcase why he was such a highly sought-after prospect even with his injuries prior to being drafted.

This young man can change the game in an instant, as can Jokic, making the pair two extremely dangerous players for the Nets to deal with. Added with an incredible defensive and offensive team, and a team that distributes the ball even better with the addition of Aaron Gordon at the trade deadline, Brooklyn will hope to not have to match up with this hungry squad.
