NBA Draft fits: 6. Jalen Johnson, F, Duke
Ideal landing spot: Sacramento Kings
The Sacramento Kings have been one of the biggest disappointments in the NBA this season, especially considering the amount of talent that this team has on its roster. That said, if the Kings can luck into a good draft pick there’s a chance that this team can surprise with a jump up the West standings in the next year or two.
One good way in doing that could be selecting Jalen Johnson who gives the Kings an intriguing wing that has the potential to be a great two-way player. He’s still a relatively rough offensive player but it’s his high potential that will make him a likely top 10 pick.
Johnson would fit on this team, even more so if they’re ready to move on from Harrison Barnes. Johnson would be able to grow alongside this team’s young core and would give Sacramento freedom to make some offseason changes to its roster.
