The Miami Heat has Erik Spoelstra and it’s time for him to shine

Miami was bad all around and still nearly stole Game 1. Even though that could be considered both a good and bad thing, I believe that the Heat will be better in Game 2 and will be in a good position to tie this series up before it shifts back to Miami.

In addition to Jimmy and Bam’s individual mishaps, the Heat shot terrible at the rim and missed more than a few bunnies that perhaps could’ve turned the game in the opposite direction.

Jimmy took too many 3’s (nine attempts) and settle for too many jumpers. I’d have to imagine he’s going to be much more aggressive in trying to get to the rim in Game 2. You’d assume Bam will come out more aggressive and confident in what he wants to do offensively as well.

Most of all, you know Erik Spoelstra and this team’s coaching staff is going to make some adjustments heading into Game 2. And Spo might be the best in the league at this.

Even though Miami should feel like they let Game 1 fall through their fingertips, there should be no panic heading into Game 2.
