Ja Morant is a future star

Even though it appears that the Utah Jazz is going to beat the Memphis Grizzlies in their first-round NBA playoff series, I can’t help but think of how great the latter should feel about their future with Ja Morant leading the way.

Through the team’s first four games of this series, Morant is averaging 34 points and six assists per game on 51 percent shooting from the field. He’s been an absolute star for the Grizzlies and is proving why he should be considered a budding superstar.

If the Grizzlies can continue to build around Morant, there’s no question that this trip to the postseason will only be the beginning of something special for the Grizzlies. Memphis may lose the series, but the nation was properly introduced to Morant. He’s a special player.
