Over the last two seasons, Trae Young has made big strides in his game. But because of the global pandemic and the lack of team success from the Atlanta Hawks, he’s mostly been an afterthought – even when discussing some of the best young players in the league.
However, with the way that he’s played in the postseason thus far, it’s hard and impossible to deny the star power that he possesses. Young has the ability to take his game to the next level when he needs to and has done so in the playoffs thus far. Young doesn’t shy away from the big stage and, in fact, almost plays like he was made for it.
He embraces the situation and turns in big play after big play. Young will forever be linked to Doncic, but the former can absolutely hold his own in that regard.
