It’s no surprise to see Luka Doncic coming in at No. 1. He’s already a superstar and one of the biggest names in the NBA today. He’s put on an absolute show in the playoffs in each of the last two seasons and is just scratching the surface on the player that he can ultimately be in the NBA.

The Mavs are in good hands and have to feel great about their future as long as Doncic is heading this team into the future. Doncic has it all – he’s a great playmaker, can be an elite scorer, and has the star power that many young NBA players struggle with.

I don’t believe that it’s a big surprise that Doncic is the best NBA player under the age of 23. In fact, you can make a strong argument that Doncic is one of the five best players in the league overall right now.
