19. San Antonio Spurs (via New York) – Jaden Springer, G, Tennessee

With the first of two picks that the San Antonio Spurs now have after the trade with the New York Knicks, San Antonio will take Jaden Springer out of Tennessee. Springer is one of the other highly touted prospects out of high school that elected to play at Tennessee this past season.

He’s an interesting player to keep an eye that is projected to be taken late in the first round and one that offers some nice potential at the next level. I don’t think anyone is penciling in Springer as a star in the NBA but he has the potential to be a really good role player for a really long time.

Especially for a player such as Springer, San Antonio is one of the best places for a developmental player to land in this draft.
