NBA Draft Lottery Outcome No. 2: The Toronto Raptors jump up

The Toronto Raptors missing the playoffs wasn’t great to watch. This team struggled for much of the season and it would be great to see them move up the lottery, perhaps to even win it to earn the No. 1 overall pick.

Especially if that means Kyle Lowry would be more open to re-signing with the team during the offseason. Who wouldn’t want to see this team with a lineup of Lowry, Cade Cunningham, OG Anunoby, Pascal Siakam, and (insert center) next season? It would be intriguing and would breathe some hope back into this franchise.

And, hey, if all else fails, perhaps the team decides to trade the pick. Maybe Masai Ujiri, assuming he stays, would be able to swing a Kawhi Leonard-type of deal again for the Raptors this offseason (using that No. 1 or top 3 pick).
