Minnesota Timberwolves
Considering that the Minnesota Timberwolves didn’t enter the season with many expectations, a 3-2 start to the season is a hot start for this team. Plus, a win over the Milwaukee Bucks will get you on this list. The big question is, does it really mean anything?
We’ve seen hot starts from the Wolves before to start the season. Eventually, the wheels would fall off and the Wolves would once again find themselves falling short of the playoffs. Will that once again be the case this season?
It’s still too early to tell, but there is plenty to like about this team. Anthony Edwards has picked up where he left off in the second half of last season, Karl-Anthony Towns is still one of the better offensive big men in the game, and D’Angelo Russell has been a complementary third offensive piece.
In the end, I believe the Wolves are more trick than treat.
Verdict: Trick
