NBA Turkey or Tofurky: Are the Warriors true contenders; sell the Lakers?

After winning the offseason, the Chicago Bulls have carried that momentum into the regular season. They got off to a roaring start to the season and haven’t looked back. Even battling some injuries and setbacks due to COVID-19 protocol, the Bulls have managed to secure some quality wins this season.

With DeMar DeRozan playing arguably the best basketball of his career, the Bulls have already beaten the Brooklyn Nets, Utah Jazz, and both Los Angeles teams. With Zach LaVine playing through injury, DeRozan has been huge for the team in carrying the offensive load.

The scary and exciting part of the Bulls is that they’re only going to get better. The question is, are they good enough to be considered a true contender? That’s a difficult one. For one, I don’t see how you can’t consider them a contender, with how they’ve played so far this season.

Verdict: Turkey
