Ben Simmons will be traded to the Portland Trail Blazers – not for Damian Lillard
The Ben Simmons saga has gone on far too long and there needs to be some sort of resolution sooner rather than later. I’m not sure if it will come this season, but I believe we will see a Simmons trade at some point during the 2020 calendar year.
I predict he will eventually be traded to the Portland Trail Blazers, but it won’t be in exchange for Damian Lillard (sorry, Sixers fans). The Blazers desperately need to reshuffle its roster and, quite frankly, there’s probably no better option currently on the open market.
It’s not going to be an easy process and it’s likely going to be drawn out, thanks to Daryl Morey. But Simmons will eventually get his new start in the league and it will be in Portland.
