Philadelphia 76ers: Ben Simmons resolution

Whether he plays for them again or doesn’t, I don’t care. Truly. Both sides have significant fault in the situation and I don’t care who ‘wins’ the stand-off. I just want it resolved.

Wasting a year of Joel Embiid’s prime is a war crime. Screw leverage, you have a top-five player. Try to win a title! A resolution, please.

Phoenix Suns: An upgrade

I don’t think this is the hope of the Suns front office or even their fans. 27-8 and just a half-game back of the No. 1 record in the league. If anything, they’re hoping for health and continued development from young stars like Mikal Bridges, Deandre Ayton, and Cameron Johnson.

It is so difficult to win the chip in this league without a top-five player. And I’m not saying the Suns are doomed without one! They’re an exceptionally run team with talent all over the roster. But if you can get an upgrade at a position, without gutting the roster, I think it would help in the long run. Guys like Thaddeus Young and Domantas Sabonis are out there. They should at least inquire.
