2. Josh Giddey, F, Oklahoma City Thunder
Many insiders after the NBA Draft were questioning how a backcourt of Josh Giddey and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander would fit? But their two different styles of play have worked for the team thus far. Although the Oklahoma City Thunder are a rebuilding organization, the franchise got a steal when bringing in Giddey from the NBL.
Throughout this season, Giddey has been able to produce in a multitude of ways. The biggest factor in his play is his terrific Playmaking and ability to help others succeed. Giddey leads all rookies in assists with 6.4 to go along with his 11 points and 7.3 rebounds.
His recent performance displaying a triple-double is an example of the dynamic Giddey displays on the floor. With the way he has performed, his name should certainly be in the conversation for Rookie of the Year.
