Shooting guard: Devin Booker, Phoenix Suns
This was a toss-up between Devin Booker and Bradley Beal, but given that Beal is struggling this season I had to give it to the Book. The Suns are one of the best teams in the league right now and Booker is their top scorer, putting up 23.6 points per game after 29 games.
Phoenix’s guard is also hitting 45 percent from the field, a career-best 41.7 percent from 3 and 86.5 percent from the free-throw line. Booker is so effective because he is a mixture of both Kobe Bryant and Klay Thompson. He can make the difficult shots that are impossible to defend against, and he can spot-up in the corner to provide floor space for his teammates.
The Suns should definitely make the Western Conference Finals with this squad, but if they are to get to the Finals again then Booker will need to up his game even more, something he is easily capable of doing.
