NBA teams that need to make a trade: Utah Jazz
The Utah Jazz is putting together another quality season. Currently, the Jazz has the third-best record in the league (28-10) behind only the Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns. But, the thing is, very few media members and fans take the Jazz that seriously because of how they have performed the past few years in the playoffs.
If Utah wants to make a deep run in the postseason, they need to make some minor tweaks to their team. The biggest area of need is more defensive help out on the perimeter.
Even though players like Bojan Bogdanovic, Jordan Clarkson, and Joe Ingles are valuable pieces to Utah’s offense, they struggle mightily on defense. Routinely they let opponents drive right by them and fail to play help defense. The Utah front office should look into acquiring a wing with more defensive capabilities. Jerami Grant, Thaddeus Young, Pascal Siakam, Eric Gordon, or Terrance Ross – all rumored to be on the trading block – would be upgrades over their current situation.
If Utah doesn’t want another first or second-round exit, they need to look into improving their roster before the trade deadline. Finding a defensive stopper is of the utmost importance for this Utah front office right now.
