6. Portland Trail Blazers – Jaden Ivey, G, Purdue
With C.J. McCollum now in New Orleans, it wouldn’t be surprising if the Portland Trail Blazers elected to add to the backcourt with their first-round pick. Jaden Ivey is ap potential fit as the best overall guard prospect in this class.
If the Blazers would be able to get him at No. 6, it could end up being the steal of the draft. Especially if Ivey continues to develop as many expect him to when he makes the move to the NBA.
Ivey would be an interesting fit next to Damian Lillard and would also give the Blazers the option to move him if they chose to do so. Ivey has a bright future and would gain plenty by playing next to Lillard.
