10. Portland Trail Blazers
This offseason, the Portland Trail Blazers were looking to retool around Damian Lillard. They were also hoping to get a long-term commitment from the face of their franchise. And that’s exactly what they’ve accomplished so far this offseason, even if they might not be finished making moves.
The Blazers signed Lillard to a two-year extension, acquire Jerami Grant, re-signed Anfernee Simons and Jusuf Nurkic, and acquired Gary Payton II. They also drafted Shaedon Sharpe with their top 10 selection.
The Blazers will certainly have a different feeling and look heading into the 2022-23 NBA season. It remains to be seen if this team has gotten a lot better, however, which is why I’m not sold on the fact that they’ll be a playoff team this season.
