3. Montrezl Harrell, unrestricted
After spending last season with the Washington Wizards and then the Charlotte Hornets, it’s at least a bit surprising that there isn’t more interest in Montrezl Harrell. Though considering his somewhat limited offensive game and struggles (at times) defensively, there are some questions surrounding his game.
Despite all that, Harrell averaged 11 points and five rebounds per game on 65 percent shooting from the field during the latter portion of the season with the Hornets. It wouldn’t be surprising if Harrell re-signed with the Hornets but for any team looking for help in the frontcourt, Harrell should be in consideration.
At 28 years old, there’s a chance Harrell will have to prove himself this season if he wants one more shot at a big(gish) payday. Especially considering the free agent market has dried up.
