Could the Golden State Warriors be a suitor for Kevin Durant?

Here’s where the Warriors come into play. Would they be willing to offer up something that the Nets would be interested in?

Of course, like many other teams, the Warriors are a team expected to listen to offers to make their team better every chance they get. The Warriors right now could be the only team with enough assets to acquire KD AND still keep its core together.

They have young players like Jordan Poole, James Wiseman, Moses Moody, Andrew Wiggins, and  Jonathan Kuminga. Although the player’s contracts would not match and Andrew Wiggins cannot be on the same roster as Ben Simmons because of their rookie extensions and CBA rules, if the Nets and Warriors can find another trade partner who is willing to take on Andrew Wiggins’ contract the trade could be done.

The Nets would receive multiple young and rising stars to restart their rebuild and the Warriors will have the opportunity to run it back with Kevin Durant on their squad.
