Notable moves: Signed John Wall

Even though the LA Clippers haven’t exactly made a ton of offseason moves thus far, this is not a team that needed to make a ton. They made a big move at the NBA Trade Deadline last season that pretty much worked as their offseason moves.

At the deadline, they acquired Normal Powell and Robert Covington. Add that to signing John Wall and you can make an argument that one of the deepest teams in the Western Conference managed to sign three more rotational-level players.

Oh, and Kawhi Leonard is set to return from injury too this next season. After taking a year off to recover from an ACL injury, Kawhi is set to return to the lineup for the Clippers. That in itself will be a huge move for a team that is expected to get back in the title picture.

The Clippers should not be overlooked when discussing championship contenders in the West.
