Jalen Green, Houston Rockets

Jalen Green was one of the most coveted prospects in the 2021 NBA draft. He was in debate for the first overall pick, but Cade Cunningham went first, and Green fell to the Houston Rockets second overall.

Green came into the league known for his elite athleticism and scoring, which was shown as a rookie, but his consistency was poor, and he started slowly in the NBA. Green has all the upside and talent to become a star in the league. His raw potential and ability to score from anywhere are phenomenal. Very few possess the natural gifts and ability he has.

Green flashed his potential near the end of the season when he scored over 30 points in six of the last seven games played and even dropped 41 points against the Atlanta Hawks. The addition of Jabari Smith will allow Green to drive to the bucket more, as Smith will be on the scouting report for all teams so that he will take the focus off Green, and we will see a more dangerous player next season.
