14. Cleveland Cavaliers
Even if the Cleveland Cavaliers elected to do nothing this offseason, they would still be considered an intriguing team heading into the 2022-23 NBA season. And that would be simply based on their potential internal development. However, the Cavs didn’t just sit on their hands and feet during the offseason.
The Cavs made one of the biggest splashes of the summer by acquiring Donovan Mitchell from the Utah Jazz. Heading into the season, the Cavs have a big three of Mitchell, Darius Garland, and Evan Mobley – not to mention Kevin Love, Isaac Okoro, Jarrett Allen, Ricky Rubio, and Caris LeVert are also still on the roster.
On paper, it’s easy to love the Cavs. They still must prove it though. But if this team clicks and clicks early, they could be one of the most dangerous non-favorites in the Eastern Conference.
