23. Detroit Pistons
As far as it comes to rebuilding teams, there may not be many teams that I’m as high on as the Detroit Pistons. I loved the moves that they pulled off at the NBA Draft, adding Jaden Ivey and Jalen Duren to a talented roster that already includes Cade Cunningham, Saddiq Bey, and Marvin Bagley III.
If Cunningham can play as he did during the latter portion of last season, and if Ivey can show any type of early promise, I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility that the Pistons can compete for a spot in the Play-In Tournament.
Maybe I’m too high on the Pistons and am putting unrealistic expectations on them but that’s just how much I enjoyed their offseason moves. Of course, you can’t win games during the offseason. Detroit has to prove that they’ve improved.
