Devin Booker, Phoenix Suns

The Phoenix Suns are a team that is coming off a disappointing postseason run. When it seemed as if the Suns were going to be a perennial championship contender, they lost in the second round of the playoffs. And not only that, but they blew a 2-0 series lead and a Game 7 on their home floor.

It was a mitigated disaster for the Suns last season. And the offseason didn’t calm any concerns that many had surrounding this team heading into this season. But the one thing that can cure all is a big season from Devin Booker. He’s the one player on this team that could rise above all the noise.

Chris Paul is inching closer to Father Time, who knows what type of season we’ll see from Deandre Ayton or even how the team will use him, and the Kevin Durant rumors from the summer couldn’t have helped.

If the Suns are going to rebound this season, they’re going to need Booker to be the superstar that he’s been on the verge of being.
