Richaun Holmes is a player that has seen his role with the Sacramento Kings change so much from the last few seasons to this year. Two years ago, Holmes was averaging 14 points and eight rebounds per game on 64 percent shooting from the field. This year, it’s only four points and three rebounds per game.

With the emergence of Keegan Murray, the steady play of Harrison Barnes, and the addition of Domantas Sabonis at last year’s NBA Trade Deadline, it’s no surprise that Holmes has seen his role diminish so drastically. But he’s down to just 12 minutes per game and could use a new start at this point in his career.

Holmes has two years remaining on his contract after this season (which includes a player option in the final year) and could be a valuable big for a team out there that is looking for help in the frontcourt. Plus, with the frontcourt depth that the Kings currently have, it wouldn’t be surprising if Sacramento was willing to sell Holmes on the cheap at the deadline.
